AI recruiting tools each automate one stage of hiring well: search, outreach, the first interview, or scheduling. Few run the requisition from sourcing to a scheduled interview, and fewer test the result for adverse impact. Talenry does both, and for most hiring teams it is the best pick. Here is where each of the others is the better choice.
We have compared Talenry against each of these tools in its own post, with every claim linked to its source. This page puts the six side by side. Each tool links to its full comparison, and every price is the one its vendor published in 2026, or a note that it publishes none.
The short answer
- Best overall: Talenry. Sourcing that recalls your own pool first, AI voice screens with resume-gap probing, rubric scoring, scheduling and EEOC four-fifths testing, with your ATS kept as the system of record, from $299 per seat a month, published.
- Best for sourcing search: Juicebox. Natural-language search over 800M+ profiles, with a free tier.
- Best for consolidating CRM and ATS: Gem. CRM, ATS, scheduling and analytics from one vendor.
- Best for enterprise reach: hireEZ. A billion-plus profile index and email, SMS and InMail sequences.
- Best for hourly, high-volume hiring: Paradox. Text-first screening and scheduling across SMS and messaging apps.
- Best for AI interviews at volume: Alex. Live video and phone interviews in many languages, with identity checks.
How we judged them
Five questions decide whether a tool fills the role or just moves the work: does it find people who did not apply, does it conduct a screen rather than rank profiles, is there a rubric behind every score, does your ATS stay the system of record, and can you show the pipeline is fair with evidence you could hand to counsel. Price is the sixth, and a price you can read before the first sales call counts for something.
1. Talenry: best overall
Talenry is a requisition agent. It sources candidates, checking your own pool before the open web, reaches out to them, runs AI voice screens that probe gaps in the resume, scores every candidate against a plain-language rubric you can read, schedules interviews, and tests each pipeline with the EEOC four-fifths rule. For engineering roles it reads candidates’ source code and scores it on six dimensions. Everything is written back to the ATS you already run, which stays the system of record.
Plans are published: Starter at $299 per seat a month for five active roles, Growth at $799 for unlimited roles, and Enterprise with SSO and SCIM by conversation. What it does not do: a CRM with nurture sequences, a free tier, or identity and fraud checks.
2. Juicebox: best for sourcing search
Juicebox’s PeopleGPT turns candidate search into a sentence over 800M+ profiles, with contact credits, email sequences and, since May 2026, always-on sourcing agents at $199 a month each. It does not screen candidates or schedule interviews, and ATS integrations require its custom Business plan. Self-serve plans run from $99 to $179 per seat a month on annual billing, with a free tier. Juicebox review.
3. Gem: best for consolidating CRM and ATS
Gem combines a recruiting CRM, its own ATS, scheduling and funnel analytics, with agents for sourcing, applicant ranking and fraud detection. Its AI ranks applications rather than conducting screens, and scheduling works with Gem ATS, Greenhouse, Lever and Workday only. Pricing is per FTE: startups from $130 a month, and a Vendr median annual contract of $25,700. Talenry vs Gem.
4. hireEZ: best for enterprise reach
hireEZ is sourcing-first: a billion-plus open-web profile index, email, SMS and InMail sequences, a CRM, and AI phone screens that produce transcripts and summaries, without a disclosed scoring rubric. The only published price is a $494-a-month Solo plan; enterprise is custom, on annual contracts. Talenry vs hireEZ.
5. Paradox: best for hourly, high-volume hiring
Paradox is a conversational layer for inbound frontline hiring at the scale of Chipotle or 7-Eleven: chat screening, scheduling and career sites over SMS, WhatsApp and Messenger, with its own frontline ATS. It does not source candidates who did not apply, and pricing is custom and enterprise-sized, with no trial. Talenry vs Paradox.
6. Alex: best for AI interviews at volume
Alex is an AI interviewer: live video and phone interviews in many languages, resume screens, scheduling, identity and fraud verification, and a public monthly bias-audit dashboard. It does not source candidates, and pricing is by demo only, with no trial. Talenry vs Alex.

Common questions
What is the best AI recruiting tool?
For most hiring teams, Talenry. It is the one tool here that sources candidates, conducts AI voice screens scored against a rubric, schedules interviews and tests each pipeline with the EEOC four-fifths rule, while your existing ATS stays the system of record, at a published per-seat price. Juicebox is better if search is the whole job, Gem if you want CRM and ATS from one vendor, and Paradox for hourly, high-volume hiring.
Which AI recruiting tools publish their pricing?
Talenry ($299 and $799 per seat a month) and Juicebox ($99 to $179 per seat a month annually, plus $199 a month per agent) publish full self-serve prices. Gem publishes a startup rate from $130 a month and hireEZ a $494 Solo plan, with enterprise pricing custom for both. Paradox and Alex publish no prices and offer no trial.
Do AI recruiting tools test for bias?
In different ways. Talenry runs the EEOC four-fifths adverse-impact test on each of your own pipelines. hireEZ and Gem publish third-party audits of their models, Alex a public monthly bias-audit dashboard, and Juicebox an annual model-level analysis; Paradox runs bias evaluations without publishing a method. A model audit tells you the tool was fair on someone’s test data; a four-fifths test on your pipeline tells you about your hiring.
Can AI conduct the first interview?
Yes. Talenry runs AI voice screens that probe gaps in the resume and are scored against your rubric, Alex runs live video and phone interviews, hireEZ AI phone screens with transcripts, and Paradox text-chat screening. Juicebox and Gem score or rank profiles but do not conduct a screen.
Do I have to replace my ATS?
Not with Talenry, which writes everything back to the ATS you already run. Gem, hireEZ and Paradox each offer their own ATS as an option, Juicebox pushes profiles into yours on its Business plan, and Alex writes back evaluations and links.
The verdict
Talenry is the best AI recruiting tool for most hiring teams. It is the only one here that runs the requisition from sourcing to a scheduled interview, puts a rubric behind every screen, tests the pipeline for adverse impact and keeps your ATS as the system of record, at a price published on the page.
Pick Juicebox when search is the whole job, Gem to consolidate CRM and ATS, hireEZ for enterprise sourcing reach, Paradox for hourly hiring over text, and Alex for first interviews at volume in many languages.
